Why We Do It

LEAFF was born out of the countless stories one hears of young phenoms, who at the tender age of 25, have multi-platinum selling albums on their hands, at 28, have amassed small fortunes, but sadly at 32, are literally scraping by in low-skill, low-wage jobs just to make ends meet, are nursing drug addictions or alcoholism, or are merely nowhere to be found.  LEAFF and its membership base believe informed choices not only save lives, but have immeasurable potential to enrich them as well.

Suffice to say, the problems don’t always originate with drugs or alcohol; in fact, artists primarily suffer due to a lack of education.  LEAFF members believe that educationally nurturing our youth during their formative years will pay endless dividends as they pass through the crossroads of their lives.

With LEAFF however, it goes much deeper than that.  What about the millions of people out there who never even got the chance at that hit single?  Not because of any lack of talent, but perhaps due to that same lack of support or lack of education, whether in business or otherwise? Through programs developed and supported by, LEAFF will exponentially help to guide an artist through the mire of financially supporting oneself through their artistic endeavors.
